Alpine record major financial profit after previous heavy loss

Alpine is the latest F1 team to have its financial information poured over by RacingNews365.

The Alpine F1 team recorded a profit of £8 million GBP in the financial year ending December 31st, 2025, new documents show.

It comes after the team produced a heavy loss of £14.6 million GBP in the corresponding period to December 31st, 2024.

According to the official financial documents submitted to Companies House, a legal requirement for any company in the UK, 'Alpine Racing Limited' enjoyed a turnover of £287.562 million in the 2025 FY, a sharp rise from £238.508 million GBP in the 12-month period prior.

As with every F1 team, the turnover is calculated by taking the prize money awarded in the constructors' championship as well as commercial sponsors.

The money Alpine received for its sixth-place finish in the 2024 constructors' standings was factored into the 2025 accounts - with the team being boosted by scoring 33 of its 65 points that year in the torrentially wet Sao Paulo GP where Esteban Ocon took second and Pierre Gasly third.

After the prior race in Mexico City, Alpine had found itself ninth in the standings on just 17 points - but climbed to sixth, with Gasly also banking two points for seventh in the Sprint, overhauling Haas and Racing Bulls.

Once cost of sales of £222.378 million was factored in, this left the team with a gross profit of £65.184 million GBP, a climb of £20.713 million GBP year-on-year from 2024.

After other expenses were deducted, it left the team with an operating profit of £16.527 million GBP for the 2025 year.

In 2024, Alpine Racing Limited recorded an operating loss at this stage of £10.192 million GBP.

After UK tax had been applied, it left the team's bottom line figure back in the black by £8.007 million GBP. In the previous year, it had lost £14.625 million GBP, something of an anomaly after strong profits in preceding years.

The submission is one of a number of teams RacingNews365 has examined thus far, including Williams and Aston Martin, as well as F1 itself.

Submissions from Red Bull and McLaren are due imminently, with Mercedes recording its figures ahead of schedule in June.
